I tasted it later and did the same! Soooo good! And not messy like pan frying french toast!

6 tablespoons butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
12 day old dinner rolls, sliced in half
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
Preheat oven to 350F.
Mix together brown sugar and butter and pour in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
Arrange the slices of bread over the sugar/butter mix and add the blueberries to it.
Mix eggs, buttermilk, milk, granulated sugar and vanilla. Pour mixture over bread and blueberries and let it sit 10 minutes or cover well and refrigerate overnight.
Bake in preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until set. Check around 25 minutes into the baking time and if top is browning too quickly, cover loosely with foil. Serve warm with syrup from the bottom of the pan, from the butter/brown sugar mix.
