Guava Gelato

Guava brings me back too many childhood memories. We always had them in our fruit tray and i just loved biting into a guava, bitter and sweet at the same time.
Not sure if they are available anywhere in the US, but you find the juice nectar at the spanish sections in your grocery store.
This recipe was supposed to be a mousse and when it didn't set, i put it in freezer and served as a gelato, and it was a hit. You can put it in the ice cream maker if you want a fluffier dessert.

Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can nestle media crema (found in spanish section of grocery stores) or use heavy cream
1 can guava concentrated juice ( use the sweetened condensed milk can to measure)

Whisk all ingredients well and place in a freeze safe container with a lid and freeze. Or place in a ice cream maker following maker instructions.
