The salted butter and sea salt bring a whole extra layer of awesomeness to these cookies. Worth a try for sure!

1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, room temperature
2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg, lightly beaten at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons nutella
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/3 cups coarsely chopped dark chocolate
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.
Beat the butter and sugars until smooth and creamy, by hand or with the help of a mixer. Beat in egg, vanilla and nutella.
Stir in the flour mixture and chocolate chunks. Cover and chill batter for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
The cookie batter should be cold enough that you can roll small rounds about half the size of a golf ball.
Flatten them slightly and place the mounds evenly spaced apart on the baking sheets.
Bake for 12 minutes, until tops are golden brown.
Remove from oven, let cool in baking tray for 2 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
